A talk by Neil Lash, the co-founder and current director of the internationally recognized Heirloom Seed Project at Medomak Valley High School. Heirloom seeds grown at Medomak Valley have been swapped with such places as Monticello, Mount Vernon, and most recently Baker Creek Seed Company. In December 2015, 'Bere' barley seeds were sent to Kintyre, Scotland to be used to restore the once common Vikings variety that is now extinct on the Kintyre peninsula. The seeds grown for Baker Creek Seed Company will be available via their online seed catalog. Part of Vose Library's Plant Series programs.
