Argy Nester invites caregivers and their children to the Vose Library to design and create family lanterns and to learn more about the cultural and historical significance of lanterns around the globe. This workshop is recommended for ages 7 to adult. Adults may attend with or without children, and children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All materials will be provided to create one-of-a-kind lanterns and participants are invited to attend the Parade of Lights which leads up to the annual tree lighting on the Union Common on Sunday, Dec. 1.
The Library will be closed to patron services during this program; Vose will be open to registered participants of this program only.
This program is limited to 20 participants; please stop by the Library at 9:00am Saturday to check on available space for this free program.
