Kristin Gould is currently a technology integrator/librarian for a small public school in MidCoast Maine. She brings with her the knowledge from 39 years of elementary school teaching, her love of children’s literature, and a knack for using technology to guide and transform lessons.
For the past 2 years, Kristin has volunteered at Vose Library with the Children’s Summer Reading program and served on the Vose Library Board. This past winter she created and prepared Curbside Crafts twice a month for Vose’s younger patrons.
Kristin is the new library assistant at Vose library. Upon her retirement from teaching this June, she will be seen more at Vose. She is looking forward to working with Vose patrons, board, volunteers, and the library director to respond to the changing needs and interests of the library community.
When she is not working at Vose, she enjoys creating in her craft room and being on the lake.
She has a B.S. in Elementary Education/Special Education, a Master’s Degree in Reading, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Instructional Technology, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership.
