Plant, Book & Bake Sale
Saturday, June 6th, from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Vose Library
Our annual Plant, Book & Bake Sale is almost here! This is one of our favorite days of the year, and we hope you'll join us.
Plant Sale
If you're hoping to snag the best plants, plan to arrive early; they go fast! Once the good ones are gone, they're gone.
Book Sale
We've got a great selection this year: fiction, non-fiction, a ton of kids’ books, and audiobooks. Come browse and stock up for summer reading.
Bake Sale Bakers & Volunteers Needed!
We're looking for volunteers to donate baked goods. Cookies, cakes, breads, whoopie pies, pies, muffins—whatever you love to make.
We also need helpers to man the bake sale on June 6th. Sign up for a 2-hour shift

Summer Reading 2026: Unearth a Story
Dig into a great book this summer and come up for air with some seriously fun prizes.
Whether you're 4 or 84, Summer Reading is for you. Set your own reading goal and work toward it at your own pace.
How It Works
Register in person anytime June 28–July 4 to get your reading log, pick up your registration kit, and kick off the adventure. Can’t make it in? Shoot us an email, and we’ll get you signed up. Every week brings new crafts and activities to try, at the library or at home. Check in with us to collect your weekly brag tag and earn raffle tickets along the way.
Prizes:
Everyone gets a reward when they complete their reading goal!
For kids: bikes, LEGO sets, craft kits, and a pizza party for you and your friends at the library.
For adults: gift cards to some favorite local spots like Cashmere Goat, Sterlingtown Pub, and more.

Gentle Yoga
When: Wednesdays, 8:30–9:30 AM
Diane Murphy, RN, CYT, leads a peaceful hour of gentle yoga. This class is perfect whether you’re brand new to yoga or looking for a calming midweek reset.
This is a donation-based class, and all are welcome.
Details:
Recommended donation: $15

Yarn & Stitch
When: Tuesdays, 3:00–4:30 PM & the 4th Saturday of every month at 10:30 AM
Calling all knitters, crocheters, and makers!
Bring whatever you’re working on (knitting, crocheting, stitching, embroidery, you name it) and enjoy an easygoing afternoon of conversation and creativity.
This isn’t a formal class, but friendly advice is always just a seat away.
New faces are always welcome!

LEGO Building
When: 2nd Saturday of every month, 10:30–11:30 AM
LEGO builders wanted! Join us at the library for creative building fun. We’ll have plenty of bricks on hand. Bring your imagination.
Finished builds will be proudly displayed in the library for everyone to enjoy.
We can’t wait to see what your kids create!
Kids of all ages are welcome.

Join fellow book lovers for lively discussions and great reads. Each month, we explore a new title together, fiction, nonfiction, classics, and more.

When: 3rd Tuesday of every month, 6:00 PM
Bring whatever book you’re currently reading, enjoy an hour of quiet reading time together, then stay to chat (or not). It’s totally up to you.

Story Time
When: 1st Saturday of every month, 11:00–12:00 PM
Gather ’round for Story Time with Loann!
Kids of all ages are invited to listen as Loann brings picture books to life with her engaging read-alouds.
Crafts are always available in the library for little ones to enjoy before or after story time.
Make sure to check the calendar for the next date, and no registration is required.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
Free books for your little one! Children in Knox County from birth to age 5 can receive a free book in the mail every month through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
How to Enroll:
Go to imaginationlibrary.com/check-availability and register your child. It’s free and easy.
In 6–8 weeks, your child will receive their first book.
Books will continue arriving monthly until your child’s 5th birthday.
